So, where’s the next retailer?
It’s in Williamsburg, Brooklyn: Urban Rustic.
Crossing over the East River, getting off at the L line Bedford station and walking towards McCarren Park, you’ll find a flag with green and yellow color flapping. That’s where Urban Rustic is located.
The time we visited was in the afternoon on one very comfortable weekend. Customers stood in a double line to indulge themselves with specialties at Urban Rustic.
The GLO pen is located in front of the cashier behind a shelf. Urban Rustic became the GLO pen retailer about a month ago. Customers use the GLO pen to sign their receipts. People at Urban Rustic also like the idea of GLO. It seems that the GLO pen is warmly welcomed at Urban Rustic!
Urban Rustic is a grocery store and café dedicated to providing locally grown, organic and biodynamic food to the community. Besides providing quality food and a warm atmosphere, Urban Rustic aims to be a place where food producers and consumers can come together and share experiences and stories about food and living.
Enjoy rich coffee, mouth-watering sweet treats and everything at Urban Rustic - but don’t forget to leave with the GLO pen!

You can get a GLO pen through the Project GLO website. It also is now stocked in selected specialty stores in New York City.
In this and future posts, GLO will introduce each retailer where our GLO pen is sold. The retailer we visited this time is Manhattan Fruit Exchange, one of the Chelsea Market’s best stores.
Entering from 9th Avenue, eye-popping cupcakes, beautiful flowers, the smell of freshly baked bread and a variety of cuisines welcome you.
Passing by a big Valentine’s Heart next to the water fountain, you’ll see windows with colorful fruits and vegetables.
That’s Manhattan Fruit Exchange: the place where you can find the GLO pen.
Once you enter the store, you can feel the freshness of their products and see their wide selection, from fruits and vegetables to exotic mushrooms, fresh herbs and nuts. You’ll also see the store offers top-quality goods at remarkably low prices.
After touring the store, look for the GLO pen.
It is placed in front of the cashiers on the right side. If you don’t see it, please ask the staff for it. Enjoy your shopping at Manhattan Fruit Exchange and Chelsea Market – and don’t forget to leave with the GLO pen!
